UV CURE ACRYLATED URETHANE
BLUEBOND™ UV-cured urethane acrylate adhesives cure when exposed to light of the appropriate wavelength and intensity. They are one-component, 100% solids systems with no solvents. These adhesives are suitable for bonding glass or plastic to itself or to metals and other substrates. They are often used in applications such as form-in-place (FIP) gaskets, PET clamshell bonding, and glass sealing.
Many production environments require fast, controlled curing. UV-cured urethane acrylates support adaptable cure speeds based on process settings. Cure time can be modified by adjusting light intensity, distance to the light source, or the number of lamps on a production line. Because these adhesives do not cure until exposed to light, they are also well suited for manual assembly, where precise positioning and alignment are required before bonding.
