In many applications and industries, efficiency is a valuable asset. Allowing for high efficiency to increase output is the goal for all manufacturers. Most standard epoxies such as 3M DP-460, when mixed, are viable for only a short amount of time- maybe 60 minutes at best and heat is not preferred when curing. This can reduce efficiency and reduce output while also creating a lot of waste.
EB-107LP-2 is a low viscosity, long pot life epoxy system. With a work life of over 6 hours, EB-107LP-2 can still be cured at room temperature or at elevated temperatures to cure more quickly. A USP Class VI certified product, EB-107LP-2 is preferred by many medical device manufacturers for its extremely long work life and biocompatibility. Applications include matching layers in acoustic technology and underfill epoxy for PCB applications.
