How to properly store epoxy?

Eb 350 3t

EB-350-3T

Properly storing epoxy is essential to maintaining it performs as intended. Generally 2-part epoxy products are much easier to maintain storage conditions than 1-part epoxy products. Most 2-part epoxy systems can be stored at ambient temperature (20°C-30°C). It is generally not recommended to continuously store epoxy at temperatures above these temperatures but can be stored below 20°C. Storing in a dry environment is also recommended as any moisture or water absorption into the epoxy can lead to poor adhesion and further poor performance. One part epoxy systems need to be handled and stored much more carefully as the shelf life of the product can be limited. At room temperature, the shelf life of one part epoxy products range anywhere from 1 week to 4 months. It is important to carefully read the storage conditions provided. Once part epoxies are always recommended to be stored at below ambient temperatures to extend its shelf life. Exposure to elevated temperatures can severely advance the epoxy and render it unusable.

EB-350-3T is a toughened, one component epoxy system with a shelf life of 3 months at ambient temperatures (25°C). Shelf life can be extended by storing at lower temperatures (0-10°C). EB-350-3T is a thixotropic, non-sag epoxy ideal for screen printing applications. EB-350-3T is used highly in bonding ferrite cores for its high strength and ability to withstand solder reflow temperatures of up to 280°C (536°F). In semiconductor and PCB applications, EB-350-3T is excellent as a glob top encapsulant and dam material for dam-and-fill encapsulation.
