How do I know when epoxy is cured?

Epoxy curing profiles are suggestions on how to properly and fully cure the epoxy. Many times it is a trial and error by users to come up with the best cure for the specific application. Many epoxies will cure at room temperature after 24 hours but certain epoxies require heat to cure. These systems that require heat generally have increased heat resistance, moisture resistance and hardness. In the lab it is very easy to test for completion of cure but in certain applications there is no way to physically know when the epoxy is cured.
EB-119SP is a high temperature resistant, low viscosity epoxy with a built in indicator for users to know when the epoxy is cured. When liquid and uncured, EB-119SP is a clear and transparent. Once fully cured, EB-119SP changes color dark amber indicating the epoxy has cured. EB-119SP is a USP-Class VI certified epoxy that can withstand continuous temperatures of over 250°C. EB-119SP is used as a matching layer in medical imaging applications as well laminating PZTs in transducers. In the electronics industry, EB-119SP is an excellent underfill epoxy and high temperature coating.
